Bradon, a long-time participant in UAS' 'Urban Hike with Mike' and a regular at the UAS Monthly Meetup for young adults with #autism, along with his mom, Beverly talked about #autism and what it means to them on WBEZ's Reset.

Beverly noted that finding social programs for Bradon where he felt comfortable and wanted to go back was difficult until she found out about the UAS Monthly Meetup. The Meetup occurs almost every second Sunday and brings together young adults with autism and related challenges for pizza, board games and friendship at Pompei Restaurant in the Little Italy neighborhood.

On the radio segment, Bradon talked about the importance of helping other people with autism feel comfortable in social situations. He is often the first to welcome newcomers at the Meetup and loves talking cartoons, anime, movies and video games.

Bradon and Beverly are a true team, and together they have navigated the complicated world of autism with all its twists and turns and dead ends. But they've also found community and support. Thanks to both for being on the show and being such an inspiration to others!
