Jenny Tarnoff
Lead Grower and Educator
Jenny Tarnoff has spent the past decade working across youth development, urban agriculture, and community programming. Most recently, she served as the Gardening Program Facilitator for the Chicago Park District, where she managed garden programs for adults and youth, oversaw a grant program, and supported the development and maintenance of community gardens across the city.
Previously, she held roles with CPS, Urban Growers Collective, and Girls Inc., designing and leading hands-on educational programs centered on environmental justice, literacy, and life skills. Jenny earned a BA in English from Kalamazoo College and completed an immersive sustainability program in Thailand that deepened her understanding of ecological and cultural resilience. She's excited about joining the UAS team and working with the incredible youth we serve.
