Grace W. Cheng

Grace is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at The Community Development Trust (CDT), a national investor that helps preserve and expand affordable housing across the United States. She oversees CDT’s finances and daily operations, supporting its mission to provide long-term capital that strengthens neighborhoods and brings stability to families.

Grace previously held senior leadership positions at global real estate private equity firms including Cain International and Morgan Stanley, and brings deep expertise in accounting, finance, and operations. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with an MBA in Finance from NYU, she lives in New York City with her twins, Jenna and Jayden.

As a member of the UAS Board, Grace will apply her finance and operations experience to strengthen budgeting and planning as UAS works toward its strategic goals.
